The Bandits Have Game to Remember on Rememberance Day
After taking time to pause and reflect in memory and for all of our Military Heroes and their families, the Bandits played a game to remember on Saturday night against the Morrisburgh Lions.
Led by Ryan Lafranchise and Alexis Latimer whom both got hat tricks and Billy Denham with 5 points the Bandits rolled to an 11-2 win. “When you have 15 players participating on the score sheet and 10 of them for multiple points, you know you have had a good game. However, like last weeks lots to Clarence showed us it is just one game. We have to focus because tomorrow we have another game that we need to win” stated Bandits Head Coach Dale Murdoch.
“They are on fire” an excited equipment Manager Denis Ouelet said in between the second and third period. This pretty much described the whole atmosphere in the Ray Friel yesterday after the Bandits performance.
The Bandits travel to South Grenville on Sunday for a 1:30 puck drop agaisnt the Rangers who gave the Bandits all they could handle a few weeks ago when the Bandits pulled off an overtime victory.
